N++intendo Switch! It’s out!

You asked for it, and it’s finally here: N++ is now available on Nintendo Switch!! YEAH!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and encouraged us along the way; it’s been a long and winding road, but we made it thanks to your help and enthusiasm!

Special thanks to Blitworks for making this port happen — we couldn’t have done it without all their hard work!

We’re really excited for N++ on Switch — the bite-sized popcorn-style play is a perfect fit for gaming-on-the-go, and the virtually endless co-operative and competitive local multiplayer campaigns are the perfect use of those two Joy-Cons. We think that it’s a beautiful combination of hardware and software. 🙂

If you’re in the EU, you can get it here: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/N-NPLUSPLUS–1381511.html

North Americans can grab it here: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/n-plus-plus-switch

And if you’re in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or a few other places: N++ should be available on your Nintendo webshop (or via the eShop on Switch), we just don’t have a link handy, sorry!

While you’re waiting for the download to complete, why not get hype watching this killer launch trailer? 😉

If you’re looking for something classy to pin up on your wall, we just released some brand new prints (designed by N++ fan Fernando Leandro Rodriguez): https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/614945265/n-nplusplus-limited-edition-switch

When we first began planning N++ back in 2012, we knew it was going to be a big project — but we never could have anticipated that we would still be working on it 6 years later! There are a few things left to wrap up — the Linux port is almost ready for release, and we’re going to be rolling out non-English versions later this year — but launching on Switch feels like an important milestone as we near the end of this epic journey. We hope that you have an equally rewarding and epic experience playing it. 🙂

Got questions for us or just want to stop by to say hi? We’re doing an AMA on the r/NintendoSwitch subreddit today at 10am PT/ 1pm ET/ 5pm GMT. https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/

Finally: Metanet has always had a policy of never sharing or selling user information — we only use it to provide tech support and help make your experience playing our games better. But just to make this concrete, here’s our updated privacy policy, which makes explicit that we GDPR’t doing anything bad with your data 😉

  • i played n+ on the ds a long time ago and now I can have the pleasure of playing it on my switch once again

  • one question, metanet is working in a n++ version for 3ds?
or this game never is going to touch that console
    (sorry for my ortography). 🙂

  • we need more N (online multi)

  • I’m a little confused.
Where can I report some annoying bugs I discovered on the Switch version?
I have the PS4 version since the release of N++ and i Love it !!!. Now (after many years) I bought the Switch version to beat the game on the go.
    However, I found that:
    1. I can’t use analogs in the pause menu – only the directional buttons work. This is very annoying.
    2. In Dock mode, when previewing the levels (under the level selection matrix), the gold squares (or the previews themselves) are placed in the wrong places :/ Somehow the Blitworks beta testers didn’t pick up on these “mistakes”.
    3. One more annoying thing is that the credits mention Polish localization done by Mateusz Lisowski, but there is no language selection in the game! and I suspect that the game determines the language by what is set in the console system. Nintendo Switch doesn’t have Polish language…

    Any chance for a patch?

  • we need a patch for the Nintendo Switch version – it has some bugs that the Blitzworks beta testers overlooked

  • thanks for the report, HaQuEr! We will see what we can do.
